Frequently Asked Questions about Kentucky’s Medical Marijuana Pogram

  • Full legalization for medical marijuana will happen in January 2025.

In the meantime, Governor Beshear created a pathway for patients with a qualifying medical condition to use and possess marijuana purchased at a licensed dispensary outside the state of Kentucky. These conditions include post traumatic stress disorder, cancer, and chronic pain. To qualify, you must have one of these medical conditions, be certified by a qualified physician, and keep your dispensary receipt.

  • Only a licensed medical marijuana provider can determine if you qualify for the program, so we cannot guarantee your approval. However, if you do not get approved by our doctor you will receive a FULL refund!

We want to make this process 100% RISK-FREE for you!

  • During your medical marijuana evaluation, an online medical marijuana doctor will evaluate you and certify you for marijuana use. Plan to budget between 10-15 minutes to answer the patient health history questions (this is done BEFORE the appointment), and about 15 minutes to talk with the Kentucky medical marijuanas doctor.
